Wow, September! I best start getting prepared for Christmas!

August was a busy month in my personal life and with the business. I somehow managed to start a new full time job, move house and complete the initial 10 week online Llwyddo’n Lleol programme. It ‘s been a busy month but a good one, and I’m looking forward to a more laid back September creating and trying new things out. What are your plans for September?

Llwyddo’n Lleol

This month saw the end of the weekly ‘Llwyddo’n Lleol’ programme I’ve been participating in over the last 10 weeks.

I’m so lucky to have learnt so much from this programme, and it was especially a godsend at the start when I was furloughed from my previous job and looking for some motivation a few weeks into lockdown.

Our final Llwyddo’n Lleol session

I’ve had some amazing opportunities, and learnt so much from my peers and guest speakers, as well as been given the chance to grow and test out new things in my business.

The Llwyddo’n Lleol gang. Can you spot me in the mix?

But one of the highlights of participating in the programme has been getting to know 13 other inspirational young people full of positivity, creativity and entrepreneurship. If you haven’t come across them yet, here’s a quick introduction – and some handy links for you to follow them on social media!

  1. Anna – Gwarchodfa Cyf
  2. Cain – CEG Therapy
  3. Erin – Mental Health Coach Erin
  4. Eurgain – Gwraidd
  5. Huw – Llaeth Medra Milk
  6. Ifan – Business Finder Wales
  7. Lleucu – Lleucu Illustration
  8. Lois – Cwmni Sos Coch
  9. Mirain P – Pitsa Rhos
  10. Mirain Rh – Hey Soul Stitcher
  11. Osian – Ar Goedd
  12. Siwan – Gemwaith Gwyndy
  13. Tom – Swig Smoothies

But don’t worry, Llwyddo’n Lleol hasn’t completely come to an end – there are a few exciting things lined up for this month and the future – so keep your eyes peeled. I can’t wait to share some more information with you soon!

Thanks to a generous grant from Llwyddo’n Lleol I was able to invest in purchasing an iPad for my business. I’ve had great fun designing some of my marketing materials and info-flyers.

Another thing I was able to do was start experimenting with creating some new things. I’ve had fun creating some GIFs for my business to use on my Facebook and Instagram stories – I’d love to know if you like them!

Custom Orders

Amongst all the business of moving and starting a new job it was fun to complete some orders too. Here’s some personalised Bridesmaid cards I made for a customer. It’s always fun to create something new.

I’m still running the business despite being back in full time work as I love having a creative outlet in my evenings and weekends – so get in touch if you’d like to order!

Looking ahead to September…

Though September may be a little more calm, I look forward to planning ahead for Christmas – and some new projects far closer too.

Thanks again for all your support,
